Clive Tucker

European Tour Coach

About Clive

Clive Tucker is recognised as one of Europe’s most sought after teaching professionals. He spent 10 years playing on the European and South African Tours and competed in 5 British Open Championships and was PGA Golfer of the year twice.

However, coaching was never far from his mind and he set about improving the skills that were needed. This process took some years but he became a PGA Advanced Fellow Professional, PGA Specialist Professional, a European Tour Coach and a Golf Monthly top 50 coach.

He has worked with high profile Tour Players including Graeme McDowell, David Howell, Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood, Thomas Bjorn, Peter Fowler and Karen Stupples. Clive can count 18 official Tour wins on 3 continents in his coaching record. Whilst working with Clive, David Howell rose to 9th in the official Golf World rankings and Graeme McDowell to 4th in the world after his 2010 US Open win.

As Graeme McDowell said in June 2011; “I probably haven’t given Clive enough credit in my career because I worked with him for 4 years leading up to winning the US Open and I literally parted company with him 2 months before I won at Pebble, but he had really laid the foundation down that helped me to on and have the type of year I had”.
